The House Call



Geriatric Consulting Group is a team of dedicated providers and support staff that is able to offer complete medical care and services to patients, all in the comfort and privacy of their own home. GCG is able to provide this high level of care to residents of assisted living and independent living facilities at NO CHARGE to patients, facilities, or families. Medicare and other insurors are billed directly by GCG for services provided, with no out-of-pocket expenses for GCG services. Honestly.

GCG will be on-site in prompt scheduled assignments, able to provide all medical services inclusive of mobile laboratory and x-ray capability, as well as home health utilization if necessary. GCG can also provide disease screening exams, disease prevention education and other needed or requested information. Nathan Russell, FNP recently joined Geriatric Constulting Group. Nathan was raised, and still resides, in Dickson County, and with him comes extensive family practice experience locally and hospital practice experience with emphasis in Geriatric Psychiatry, specializing in dementia and dementia related disorders.

GCG makes every effort to make at least weekly provider visits to each facility to better serve patient’s needs, both emergent and ongoing. We have a Registered Nurse on staff during business hours who handles triage, appointments, medication refills, etc. After-hours there is a provider on call 24 hours a day and on weekends, to take emergent calls from facilities and or patients. Our goal is to take the service of medical practice to the patient where he lives in a timely and intimate fashion. GCG is a family of faith-based, Christ-centered providers who seek to “...be devoted to one another in brotherly love” and to “honor one another above yourselves...being joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” (Romans 12:9-12).


Geriatric Consulting Group brings healthcare to the patient, rather than having the patient travel for healthcare. Geriatric Consulting Group provides all the conveniences of an "in office" doctor visit to the facility in which the patient currently resides. Our providers can act as a bridge between the patient and their current primary care physician by aiding that doctor in whatever capacity necessary. However, our providers can also serve as the patient's primary care physician if that is desirable to the patient. GCG is honored to be a partner in serving the medical needs of the Senior community.
